The hubby came along partly to check out his old college town and kick off his Labor Day weekend away from work (and to schlep my bags around!).
I found I quite like having a bag boy. I may hire him on.
The drive up was quite nice, but the closer we got to Point the clouds became increasingly ominous. Once we pulled into the city, the skies opened up and let out rain of Biblical proportions. I called my bride, Page, and let her know what it was looking like...but kept my fingers firmly crossed for a clearing.
A clearing we got...just in time. Yes, it was windy...and a bit chillier than to be expected...but we got it done...and even got some of Page's much wanted "backlighting flare in a field".
Page and Adam will be getting hitched this January...a mere 3 weeks after my due date, so they will signal my postpartum return to shooting....can't wait!
Enjoy the sneak peek!
Point Trivia folks...can you spot Oz in the mural above? A passer-by on a bike pointed him out to us right after we shot here.
We passed this little alleyway on our way back to our cars and the light just jumped out at me.
I told Page and Adam that I kind of like to cut off people's heads. Intentionally.
