Take it from me.....and Glenn Frey....the heat was definitely ON. On the streets. On everything. Holy BUCKETS it was hot outside yesterday during Josh and Kristy's wedding. The poor groomsmen in their black suits....oy vey!
The positive side? It didn't rain! (I heard a rumor Milwaukee got dumped on every hour on the hour, we got very lucky!). It was a GORGEOUS, if not sweltering day.
The ceremony was held at the lovely Olbrich Gardens in Madison, which served as an absolutely beautiful and bright-light filled venue for the "I do's".
From there, the bridal party and I headed over to Monona Terrace for pictures, giving us a great view of the capitol, which was a bit crowded due to a weekend art show.
The reception was held at the gorgeous Lake Windsor Golf Club. Everything went off without a hitch (except for the sudden onslaught of golf course sprinklers, which unexpectedly doused a group of guests!) I can imagine by that time it felt rather refreshing following the desert-like heat we had experienced!
It was a fabulous night, and as the heat gave way to a nice summer breeze, Josh and Kristy celebrated with friends and family with great food and great music.
Enjoy the sneak peek!

Congratulations to the lovely couple! So so happy that they had you to photograph their beautiful day.
Lovely images! Great Madison locations, too! Too too funny, when were YOU at Monona Terrace? I bet we were pretty close to running into one another. :)
We were there around 3:30ish I think...we weren't there TOO long, as I was illegally parked and it was HOOOOTTTT
