We'll follow the rainbow
Wherever the four winds blow
And there'll be a new day
Comin' your way
I'm gonna be here for you from now on
This you know somehow
You've been stretched to the limits but it's alright now

There are certain truths about weddings. They are hectic, high-energy, and are more than likely apt to run late. I've taken this issue into consideration with every wedding I've done because it's just par for the course.
Except with highly-efficient Sarah and Josh.
Not only did they NOT run late, they ran EARLY....an hour early most of the night. It was an unheard of situation but one that was kind of nice because we had time to fit in two photo sessions with the bride and groom, taking advantage of "magic hour" light. Plus, there was none of that "we're late!" stress.
Sarah and Josh held their ceremony at the Church by the Side of the Road in Rockton, IL. A quaint little chapel that runs several weddings a Saturday. Talk about efficiency! Their reception was held at La Casa Grande, a venue in Beloit, my hometown.
Because my in-laws know Sarah personally, the wedding was a bit of a family affair. I did the photography, my husband Jon DJ'd the reception, and Betty got to attend her first wedding. She spent the evening chasing after the ring bearer. She's a bit boy crazy, that one.
All in all it was a highly efficient and fun night! I hope Sarah and Josh enjoy their sneak peek!
I did the bridal party shots at an abandoned gas station in Beloit. I'm so glad they were up for it because I was really itching to use it once I passed it on my way in to town.
At the end of a long night.
"Whoa-oh here she comes. Watch out boys, she'll chew you up. Whoa-oh here she comes....she's a man eater"
(That would be my kid)
