I've gotten to the point now where I don't cry at weddings very often. I've been to a lot, worked at a lot, and I'm always touched at the sentiments that arise at weddings...but never really make time for actual teary eyes....because I'm too concentrated on capturing the tears of happiness from everyone else!

But there was something about the emotions behind Dave and Nicole's nuptials that were just so sincerely loving and open-hearted that I found myself getting a bit misty on several occasions. Dave himself has proven to be a bit of a sensitive soul (if you are a Scrubs watcher, we call these people "Sensies" lol). I had a great time watching all his Facebook updates throughout the week counting down the days to his wedding. His excitement was contagious!

Nicole and Dave share one of those truely, madly, deeply type connections that's just obvious to those around them, and when Dave got up at the reception and thanked Nicole's parents for raising the "love of his life"....well, I tell you one thing, it may have been dust in my eye or something. But it was just sweet.

Yesterday was a bit chilly but we made it work and everything from the pre-ceremony to the reception was a hearty celebration. It makes my job easy when everyone is so genuinely happy and relaxed.

I also have to add that they had one of the best, most creative slideshow presentations that I have ever seen. It was really great!

I absolutely LOVE this shot. Dave and Nicole had a very kid-friendly event and it gave me a lot of opportunities to catch kids in funny situations.

Nothing better than letting loose on the dance floor.
