Sunday, Jon (read: the husband) and I took off for Lake Geneva and the wedding of Anthony and Cori. They couldn't have had a more perfect day. The sky was perfectly blue, the sun was out and all of their friends and family came together at Hawk's View Golf Club to witness their personal and intimate exchange of vows.
Cori and Anthony, both completely adorable, made my job quite easy....effortless in front of the lens and relaxed with their bridal party. I had a heck of a time narrowing down the blog post pictures to just 10 or so.
The entire day was one happy surprise after another: including a double rainbow that appeared in the sky after a quick rain shower.
Not sure what the old wives' tales say about luck and rainbows on wedding days, but it has to mean something! All the more fitting as the couple are off to live in Hawaii (The Rainbow State!) after the wedding.
Jon and I had a great day and wish Cori and Anthony all the happiness in the world on their new adventure! Enjoy the sneak peek!

This was actually a "test" shot to see how the makeup was looking on camera, but dang if Cori's eyes didn't just pop here...I had to include it. She was the picture of calm while getting ready!
Cori is a posing pro....and Anthony isn't too shabby either!
How cool is it to have a rainbow show up on your wedding day! Strange enough, this is the SECOND time this has happened at one of "my" weddings!
