Mariah. | Beloit Senior Portrait Photographer.

Oh, the light was lovely tonight.
The bright orange light spilling over Beckman Mill.
The light cutting through the sunflowers in South Beloit.
The red and blue lights of the cop who pulled me over on my way home.

Yes...the lights...lovely.

And yes, I got pulled over. Again.

*sigh*

Anywhoo, tonight we shot Mariah's senior session and it went fabulously! Beautiful evening light and hitting up a local field of sunflowers....couldn't ask for more!

Enjoy the sneak peek guys!

Jack. | Beloit Senior Portrait Photographer.

I'm relatively new to the senior session. Sure, I've photographed tons of babies, toddlers, families, kiddos, brides, grooms....some dogs. But seniors was uncharted territory for me. So, I was glad to take on the challenge and see what I could make of it.
I headed to the Country Club of Beloit to shoot a very golf-centered shoot with Jack. He was very at ease in front of the lens, which made my job easier. Plus, the light bouncing off the greens and cutting through the trees was to-die-for.
Enjoy the sneak peek, and here's to many more senior sessions to come!!

I had to confess to Jack and his mom that I know next to NADA about golf...or cool ways to hold golf-clubs...or at least ways to hold golf clubs that wouldn't make Jack look terminally UNCOOL.

Got our hands on a golf cart.

I know the shirt and tie shots were supposed to be for the "head shot/yearbook" pic, but I love this shot. Just putting that out there. The eyes "have it".
