I've found myself paying closer attention when I have sittings with families that have two kids (especially two girls) because it's starting to become very clear that in a little over a month I will be joining their ranks....and it's a thought that, frankly, scares me a bit. What is it LIKE having two?!?!
I've done several sittings with Stephanie, Jarrott, and their two girls Kennedy and Reagan. It's so neat to watch them reach new milestones (Reagan is walking like a champ!...ok, a wobbly champ...but a champ nonetheless).
Today we hit up the Audubon Center in Milwaukee and I took the chance to observe and ask a few questions about exactly what it's like having two. One of these days someone is going to say "Oh, it's SUPER easy!!! Really! Piece of cake!" I swear. I'm waiting for it. What I learned today is hugging and choking your sister may be about the same thing to a toddler and your sense of awareness must be sharpened....because once one sits down and cooperates with the task at hand...the other is off and running.
Eeek!
